Oct 1. 2015 MGP went full time. This meant freedom to make my own schedule and work for MYSELF for the first time in 15 years. Babies are my passion, if you know me you already know that so when I knew I could handle being "on call" as I made my own work schedule I decided to start offering our Panhandle Birth Photography. I was blessed enough to have my family capture some of mine, regardless of the type of camera it was, those images 5 years later are still my most favorite. *TEARS* As a birthing mother, our mind is in one place and one place only. PUSH my baby out! It has been growing inside of me for 9 months and it is time to meet them. Laboring might not pass by quickly and that is a pain NO mother will ever forget but once the pushing process begins, it's over. Sadly I admit to not remembering so many of the tiny details that go on so quickly and delicately in that delivery room that mamas just don't get to see. The measuring of the babies head, chest, belly, and even calves. The suckle test, their first startle motions, even their weight. Nurses are wonderful and say "hey mama look over here" but lets be real after hours of labor a woman's body is exhausted and almost in shock. "I did it, I really did it" that we are not embracing those moments. MGP hopes to hold that memory for you forever, but will only take on ONE per month due to the fact that mama's never know when their baby is ready to enter this world!! We are there from "it is time" call and up to one hour after birth. Contact MGP for details and investment. Doctor you will see in this story is Dr. Esses owner of Woman and Children First in Santa Rosa Beach. She's amazing.
